The mandate of the NGO Committee is:

  • To encourage consultation and cooperation among NGOs and facilitate NGO Coalitions and Networks at all levels.

  • To work with UNICEF to promote the well-being and rights of children everywhere

  • To provide a forum for the substantive discussion about UNICEF policies and programmes and child-related issues

  • To support the principles and practices of Child Rights

The NGO Committee on UNICEF supported these activities and initiatives in New York and different regions of the world from its own budget. The main source of income for the Committee is the membership fees. We therefore request you to renew your membership to the NGO Committee on UNICEF. We depend on these dues to carry on our work on your behalf, building organizational capacity, supporting our regions and improving communication with our membership.

The NGO Committee on UNICEF is not a grant-giving organization and does not provide funding to individuals, groups, or organizations.
