Internship Positions

Internships at the NGO Committee on UNICEF offer opportunities for practical experience directly related to position requirements found in child rights and advocacy career postings. The level of project control given to interns will reflect upon the commitment, competency, project completion, and length of time an individual intern can provide.

Current students and graduates (undergraduate/post-graduate) from all majors may apply. We require a strong interest in international child rights, education, and/or advocacy, excellent written and verbal skills, and experience with MS Office and the Internet. Our interns must be available at least two days per week, for 16 hours of work per week, for a period of no less than 6 months (26 weeks) or more; candidates that are available for longer periods of time are highly desirable. Course credit may be available through your university.

Current Internship Opportunities (on-going):

- Writing and Editing

- Education and Outreach

- International Policy and Law

- Grant-writing/Fundraising

- Web/Graphic Design

Internships are unpaid, and do not include accommodation. If you are eligible for course credit, we will complete the necessary paperwork. We will not submit visa applications for candidates, although we do welcome candidates from other countries who have come to the United States by legal means.

Intern positions are available year-round, depending on our needs and specific interest areas. Therefore, please feel welcome to submit your cover letter and résumé at any time. State in your cover letter when you would be able to begin, and when you would expect to complete your internship program.

To apply, send a cover letter and résumé to:
